Birth Doula Fee Information

I have a sliding scale for my fee, as I never want finances to be the reason why someone does not hire a doula if they’re wanting a doula on their birth team.

I am also very open to payment plans, and bartering. If we want to work together and it feels like a good fit, let’s make it happen!

Two other ideas to be aware of if finances are tight:

  • Reach out to The Omaha Better Birth Project (offers grants to pay for doula services for qualifying families)

  • Add “Birth Doula Support” to your registry, to create a fund for your friends & family to contribute to

Discounted Fee - $1250

This fee would be designated for families who have little extra spending money after paying for bills and basic necessities. Payment plans are also available.

Basic Fee - $1500

This is my actual fee. This fee would be designated for families who are not living paycheck to paycheck, and have a decent amount of money leftover to put into savings or spend on vacations, etc, after paying for bills and basic necessities.

Pay it Forward Fee - $1750

This fee would be for families who are comfortable financially, and would like to give back to their community. The extra $250 goes into a scholarship fund that allows me to work with families who do not have any extra spending cash, and would be putting themselves into financial hardship by hiring a doula.
