“When the big day finally arrived I was so prepared, confident, and calm.”
My first birth went nothing like I would have hoped. I was induced, and labored for 48 hours with all back contractions. I felt alone and like nothing was in my control. To top it off it ended with a C-section. It took time for me to process but I was very unhappy with how things went, birth is suppose to be a beautiful thing, and it definitely wasn’t for me. A short 9 months later we found out I was pregnant again and I knew I had to do something different. I also knew I wanted a VBAC. I didn’t know where to start, I needed help. That’s when I brought Kayla in as my Birth Doula. From day one she was so supportive and always there to answer questions no matter how silly I felt they were. She had me feeling in control and capable of my second birth and VBAC. She was full of knowledge and was very professional and so genuine. She checked in regularly, especially if she hadn't heard from me in awhile. When the big day finally arrived I was so prepared, confident, and calm. Kayla was there with us at home and stayed over night with us at the hospital, I never felt alone. She truly cares and most importantly loves her job. My second birth was all I could have hoped for and more. I would recommend Kayla time and time again to all expecting mamas.

“Kayla provided us with the tools to make informed decisions and feel confident in the path.”
We chose to hire a doula for additional support during our first pregnancy and birth. We are so glad we found Kayla! She is so easy going, easy to talk to and knowledgeable. In our case, the most valuable part of her service was the support she provided before the birth as we had many questions and scenarios to discuss and prepare for. She was there for us every step of the way. Even though we ended up with an unplanned c section, Kayla was there helping us advocate for ourselves and supporting us. Even though we didn't end up with the ideal birth, Kayla provided us with the tools to make informed decisions and feel confident in the path. We couldn't recommend Kayla enough!
